The Flying Irish Dance Troupe was founded in 2000 to provide exceptional performance experience for dedicated students at the Flying Irish Studio. The Flying Irish average 20-30 shows a year, often performing multiple shows in a single day. Flying Irish members are instructed in Irish soft and hard shoe, team dancing and other movement forms such as ballet, yoga and more. The Flying Irish Dance Troupe was founded by its Artistic Director (and team member), Mary-Sarah O'Hanlon. Ms. O'Hanlon has almost 20 years experience performing, teaching and choreographing for dance, theater and the circus.

FIDT placement classes: 2 placement classes will be held for dancers, ages 16 & up, with prior dance experience, who are interested in performance opportunites with The Flying Irish Dance Troupe. These classes will be held on Tuesday, July 21 and 28, from 7:00-8:00 pm. Cost for both classes is $25. Call or email the studio to register.
